My Little Pony: Equestria Girls and Sofia The First – Crystal Prep High Rocks! is the first film in the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls and Sofia The First film series as a joint venture between the old Disney Junior TV series Sofia The First and the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls franchise.

The crossover film series takes place after the TV shows Sofia The First ended in 2018, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic in 2019 and Equestria Girls (Digital Series) in 2020. However, unlike the 4 previous Sofia The First films produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films from 2015 to 2018, the film-based story is now produced by Walden Media and Walt Disney Pictures, along with Hasbro Entertainment, Allspark Pictures and DHX Media.
Synopsis[]
Enchancia's two former princesses abandoned their old kingdom and enter the modern day world where they meet multicolored humans and reunite on a journey across 9 European countries: Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Hungary and Switzerland. In addition, Crystal Prep's most hated and old Twilight Sparkle (Sci-Twi) begins to face her biggest rival from Enchancia, that is Princess Sofia.
Plot[]
Prologue: Sofia Leaves Enchancia (Meeting Amber Jewel)[]
On 25th November 2020, Queen Miranda's daughter, Sofia has retired from her career in being the best princess in Enchancia. After she left Enchancia and her old family, she drives off in her silver Mercedes-Benz C-Class all the way to Staten Island, New York. Once she got to her new home, Amber Jewel is her adopted older sister. She purchased her house and that is 97 Aultman Avenue, Staten Island, New York, coded 10306. Given the fact that Jewel shares the same name just like Princess Amber, Jewel also set up a bedroom for Sofia to resemble her old kingdom, much to her impression.
Sofia Enters Crystal Preps and Meets The Shadowbolts[]
20 years later, Sofia wore her new Crystal Prep uniform because she will be entering Crystal Prep Academy located in Winchester, Virginia, much to her excitement. After she parked her C-Class next to Sour Sweet's 2011 Toyota Sienna Limited AWD, she went to Principal Cadance's office to register. After Sofia introduces herself, Cadance also introduces herself and Shining Armor to Sofia as the school's counselor. At 10:00 AM, during recess, Jewel introduces Sofia to the Shadowbolts such as Indigo Zap, Sugarcoat, Lemon Zest, Sour Sweet, Sunny Flare and Fleur de Lis, much to their excitement. In addition, Sofia has been declared as the 8th Shadowbolt member. Indigo also explains to Sofia that the Germans call them as Schattenblitze, much to her excitement. She also plans to held a vacation to Salzburg, Austria, all together.

The next morning, the Shadow 8 decided to roam all over 9 European countries for 45 days such as Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Hungary and Switzerland. They will spend 5 days in each country and 45 in total as they may visit interesting places, museums and historical places. Unfortunately, Jewel and Sofia are low on time to have breakfast, so they decided to eat on the go. Indy and Sour Sweet decided to help Sofia and Jewel arrange the luggage inside her Toyota Sienna minivan. Thanks to Sugarcoat, she opens the liftgate by pressing the power liftgate button above the ceiling. On the way to JFK Airport Terminal 4, the Shadow 8 pulled over to McDonald's in Staten Island to buy some breakfast by doing a drive-thru. Sofia orders a Sausage McMuffin, Jewel orders Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddles, Indigo orders Bacon, Egg & Cheese McGriddles, Fleur orders a Sausage Biscuit, Sugarcoat orders an Egg McMuffin, Sunny Flare orders a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel, Lemon Zest orders a Sausage Burrito and Sour Sweet orders a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. Afterwards, they proceed to the JFK Airport and board the Etihad Airways plane to Salzburg, Austria.

Once the Shadow 8 lands in Salzburg, Austria, they decided to split into 2 groups. Jewel, Sofia, Sugarcoat and Sour Sweet rented a 2015 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack 4Motion TDI DSG while Sunny Flare, Indy, Lemon Zest and Fleur rented a 2014 Škoda Octavia vRS TDI DSG Wagon. Afterwards, they proceed to Hotel Bristol located in downtown Salzburg.
The Mane 10 and the Cutie Mark Crusaders Travels to Austria[]
The next day, at the Mane 10's house in North Royalton, Ohio, Sebastian begs at Starlight, Sunset and Twilight that he has good news. Sebastian mentions that a new student at Crystal Prep Academy has been declared as the 8th Shadowbolt. In addition, he said that the little girl is Sofia, the kid who left Enchancia and the old Disney Junior TV series Sofia The First, much to Rainbow Dash's surprise. Rarity realizes that the TV series Sofia The First is Sweetie Belle's favorite Disney Junior TV show during her childhood, much to Gordon's agreement. He decided to travel to Europe as well with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. The Mane 8 uses Applejack's Volvo XC90 T8 while Sebastian and Gordon borrows Sunset's Kia Telluride.

CMC's House
At the CMC's house in North Royalton, Ohio by the end of the street, Sebastian honks the horn to get attention from the Crusaders (Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon). Once the 6 kids climb inside, they fasten their seatbelts and off they go! Sebastian tells Babs that Sunset follows Applejack in her Volvo XC90, so he and Gordon borrows it. In addition, Gordon tells the Crusaders that Crystal Prep's Shadowbolts team has added Sofia as their new member, much to their surprise, including Sweetie Belle. Apart from that, he mentions that Sofia drives the same Mercedes-Benz C-Class just like Apple Bloom and Silver Spoon, although Apple Bloom owns a C63 S Sedan.

Back at the alps in Northeastern Salzburg, Austria, the Shadow 8 are taking a panoramic view of the alps from above and they took a picture of them for their school. Once they return to the hotel, a Ford Galaxy Titanium Diesel and a SEAT Tarraco FR TSI approaches the Shadow 8. It's the Mane 10 and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. The Mane 10 met Sofia for the very first time. Apart from that, Sofia meets the CMCs for the very first time, including Sweetie Belle, Rarity's little sister, her biggest fan. In addition, Pinkie Pie mentions that Apple Bloom and Silver Spoon drives the same Mercedes-Benz C-Class just like Sofia, although Apple Bloom drives a C63 S Sedan, much to Sofia's surprise. Sweetie Belle drives an AMG GT63 S 4-Door and Scootaloo drives an E63 S Wagon. They also check into Hotel Bristol as well.
To Poland We Go! (Picking Up Anna and Marek)[]
Monday, 13th January 2025. After having some breakfast, the Shadow 8, the Mane 10 and the CMCs depart for Warsaw, Poland's capital after checking out of Hotel Bristol. Eventually, they changed plans and went to Przemyśl as well. Once they got to the airport in Warsaw, the Mane 10 decided to pick up Marek Wieruszewski, their old friend, but this time, he brings his wife, Anna Gidyńska. However, there is no room inside the Ford Galaxy or the SEAT Tarraco, so Marek enters the Volkswagen Passat Alltrack with Sofia, Sour Sweet, Sugarcoat and Jewel while Anna follows Indy, Fleur, Lemon Zest and Sunny Flare in the Škoda Octavia vRS Wagon.
Inside the Volkswagen Passat Alltrack, Marek sits in the rear seats between Sour Sweet and Sugarcoat and he meets Sofia for the very first time. Jewel realizes that Marek is the man mentioned by Scootaloo running a YouTube channel called Marek Drives, much to his surprise. Marek mentioned that he meets the Rainbooms before, but that time was before Sebastian and Gordon moved to Canterlot High School. He brings Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Sunset in his Škoda Octavia vRS Hatchback while Fluttershy, Rarity, Starlight Glimmer and Twilight Sparkle rented a Volkswagen Passat B8. Besides that, the cinnamon rolls in both cars explodes inside, causing him to get stuck in the mud. Also, the Mane 8 and Marek are covered in mud, resulting in Celestia and Luna spying them as mud monsters, much to Sofia's fear. They also managed to arrive at Hotel Albatros in Przemyśl on time.

The next day, back in the United States, a black 2014 Mercedes-Benz S550 (W222) driven by Princess Amber is cruising down the highway. Followed by Zooey, Moondancer and Potion Nova, Zooey mentions Nova that Sofia is an old friend of hers and she missed Sofia after she moved to Staten Island. Nova decided to have a sleepover at her house in Kansas City, Kansas, much to Zooey's agreement, so they attempted to do so. Once they got to Nova's house afterwards, Nova missed her Lincoln LS V6 so much, plus explaining about her retirement of being a Science teacher after 70 years.
Amber and Nova's Late Night Talk[]
Later that night, at 1:00 AM, Amber suffered trouble sleeping too early, causing her to proceed to the kitchen without waking Zooey, Nova and Moondancer. As Nova woke up too, Amber started to freak out and realize that Nova is a ghost, but there are no ghosts inside Nova's house. She decided to make a video chat with Sofia, much to Nova's concerns. In addition, she explains that Strawberry Shortcake started to rule Enchancia after Sofia left. After a long explanation about Shortcake, the duo started to make a video chat. At 3:00 AM in Przemyśl, Poland, Sofia also suffered trouble sleeping too early, causing her phone to vibrate. She sits next to the hotel door without opening it and noticed Amber and Nova making a video chat with her all night.
Sofia Travels to the Czech Republic[]
Amber and Nova are fallen asleep the next morning as a result of having a late night video chat with Sofia. She said that Sofia and the Shadowbolts will be departing for Prague, the Czech Republic soon, so the 4 women teamed up together. Eventually, back in Przemyśl, Poland, Sofia whispered to Jewel that Amber will be coming to Europe, so she announces that her twin will be coming to Europe today, much to Anna's confusion and Sunset Shimmer's surprise. Sofia told the crew that she had a video chat last night and in addition, Amber will be bringing Zooey, Coco Pommel, Moondancer and Potion Nova as well, much to their agreement. As they put hands together, they start working together, checking out of the hotel and depart for Prague.

As Amber, Moondancer, Nova and Zooey landed in Vienna, Austria, they found Coco Pommel stranded at the airport herself, so she teamed up as well. She purchased a tiny little 2003 Nissan Micra 4-Door (K12) and departed from Vienna to Prague. Pommel is delighted to see Nova having Amber and Zooey as her daughters, but they are Nova's associates rather than her daughters. Sofia's name is mentioned by Moondancer to Pommel joining Crystal Prep's Shadowbolts team and named after Bulgaria's capital, much to Pommel's confusion. When they got to the Grand Majestic Plaza Hotel in Prague afterwards, Amber finally reunites with Sofia again and she meets her twin sister for the very first time, much to the excitement and joy of the Mane 10, the Shadowbolts, Marek and Anna. In addition, the Cutie Mark Crusaders also met Zooey as well, including Babs, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Applejack also mentioned Zooey that Silver Spoon drives the same Mercedes-Benz C-Class just like Sofia, much to her joy. As the sun started to go down, the team entered the Grand Majestic Plaza Hotel together.

Sunflower Seed, The Emelina Crew[]
At night, back in the USA, a grey BMW 750i xDrive driven by Emelina Grace along with Bon Bon, Derpy, Lyra and Sunflower Seed following her arrives at CMC's house in North Royalton, Ohio by the end of the street. Once they have arrived, Emelina parks her Beemer on the driveway. Once they got inside after Sweetie Belle did not lock the front door, Sunflower turns on the lights and Bon Bon spotted a letter outside the fridge door secured by a magnet to prevent it from falling off. Given the fact that Babs has left for Europe, Sunflower is shocked and Lyra mentioned that Sofia has joined the Shadowbolts from Crystal Prep, much to Sunflower's confusion. Emelina mentions Sweetie Belle's favourite Disney Junior TV series Sofia The First, so they sleep inside Sweetie Belle's bedroom full of its merchandise.
Travelling To France (Revisiting Nathellie Ballerie)[]
After 5 days in Prague, the Czech Republic, Amber, Anna, Coco Pommel, Marek, Moondancer, Potion Nova, the CMCs, the Mane 10 and the Shadowbolts began to depart for France because the Mane 8 began to reunite with their retired French fashion designer Nathellie Ballerie. Once they got to her chateau, when Sunset asks the steward where Nathellie is, he went back inside and Nathellie came out, welcoming the crew. Sebastian and Gordon didn't notice that the Mane 8 can speak French, much to their surprise. When they got inside, Fluttershy introduces the Shadowbolts to Nathellie and mentioned that they do not speak French, much to her awareness. When the convoy began to sleep at night, Sugarcoat tells Sofia that the Mane 10 and the CMCs can speak many languages such as Dutch, French, German, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish, much to her frustration.

The next morning, at Principal Celestia's house in Edina, Minnesota, Celestia, her husband James and her 5 children are having breakfast together. When Celestia spotted the Mane 10's Facebook page, she started to panic and shows her family their Facebook page and mentioned that Crystal Prep has added an 8th Shadowbolt, much to her children's shock and James as well. Celestia mentioned that Sofia is Enchancia's former princess and has moved to Staten Island with Jewel according to Rainbow Dash, much to her confusion. James realizes that Sofia is named after Bulgaria's capital and from the Disney Junior TV series Sofia The First, much to Celestia's surprise. She also hopes the Mane 10 to bring back souvenirs for her, Luna, Crystal Prep, CHS and the others as well.
Playing Outdoor Sports[]
Eventually, back in France, Moondancer, Potion Nova, Sofia and Zooey are playing tennis behind Nathellie's chateau with Anna and Marek as the referees. As Nova shows Sofia and Zooey the basics of playing tennis, Moondancer hits the ball with a tennis racket and Sofia hits it back to Moondancer. Nova warns Sofia not to avoid the ball coming towards her or Zooey as it may result in being defeated. On the other hand, Fluttershy, Gordon, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow, Rarity, Sebastian, Starlight, Sunset, Twilight, the CMCs, Babs, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon are playing golf at the golf course. Also, Nathellie, Applejack, Apple Bloom, Jewel, Amber and the Shadowbolts are practicing aerobics in front of the chateau while listening to the song Fireflies by Owl City. After they done all outdoor exercises, they began to have a video chat with Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna, James Higgins and Milton Grimm. As Celestia questions the Shadowbolts that they have a new member, Sofia bursts onscreen, scaring them away. In addition, Nathellie also joins the conversation, much to her impression about Sofia joining Crystal Prep. Given the fact that Luna convinces the Mane 10 to travel to Bilbao, Spain the next day, Applejack is confident in speaking Spanish when travelling there.
Travelling To Spain (Meeting LunaDangelis)[]
The next morning, Amber, Anna, Coco Pommel, Marek, Moondancer, Potion Nova, the CMCs, the Mane 10 and the Shadowbolts began to depart for Bilbao, Spain. Nathellie also encourages Apple Bloom to buy some gifts for their closest relatives. As she waves Nathellie goodbye, the crew began to depart. Once they got to Madrid, Spain's capital, they took on a short sightseeing tour of Madrid until they spotted a blonde woman named Cristina Rodriguez, the dancer and YouTuber from her YouTube channel LunaDangelis (Spanish only), the girls managed to speak Spanish for the first time, despite being a difficult challenge for them. Twilight also mentioned that there is a convoy behind them and they are on their way to Hotel Occidental in Bilbao.
Later that evening, once they got to Hotel Occidental afterwards, Gordon is so delightful that Twilight offered Cristina a lift until the two brothers and the CMCs managed to speak Spanish as well. In addition, Babs has accepted a new name in Spanish: Semilla de Babs. Gordon mentioned Cristina that the Shadowbolts do not speak Spanish, including Sofia, much to her awareness, so Cristina managed to speak English for the first time. He also tells Sour Sweet that Spain is 10 times better than Mexico.

After dinner, much to Moondancer's frustration, she complains at Pommel that the Mane 10 can speak other languages such as French, German, Polish and Spanish. Pommel realizes that Twilight and her band are smart in speaking other languages. Cristina stops the argument between Moondancer and Pommel plus encourages her to do so. Much to Nova's protest, she understands Moondancer's frustration about speaking other languages but manages to accept that.
The next morning, Amber, Anna, Coco Pommel, Marek, Moondancer, Potion Nova, the CMCs, the Mane 10, Cristina and the Shadowbolts took a drive across Spain and explore sightseeing locations such as the Alhambra palace in Granada and the Los Puertos Natural Park in Catalonia. After a long tour, they dropped Cristina back to Madrid and proceed to Portimão, Portugal.

Once they got to Portimão afterwards, they check into an apartment called Praia da Rocha Apartments. They are amazed by the room they checked into. At 5:00 PM, Moondancer, Nova, Sofia and Zooey play beach tennis while the others build a sandcastle. Once they got back to the apartment, Pommel uploads the video into her computer, much to Sofia's joy because she cannot wait to show the video to Principal Cadance and Shining Armor. Much to Zooey's confusion about Cadance and Shining, Sofia explains to Zooey about Crystal Prep Academy's Shadowbolts team. Zooey is hoping to enter Crystal Prep soon.

The next morning, at Shining Armor's house in Winchester, Virginia, Flurry Heart, Cadance and Shining's daughter watches a video on her computer showing Sofia playing beach tennis in Portimão, Portugal with Moondancer, Potion Nova and Zooey until Cadance and Shining entered her room. Flurry said that she's watching a video about beach tennis until Cadance did not notice that Sofia is in that video, so she pauses the video for a while. Much to Flurry's confusion about Sofia, Cadance gives her daughter a gigantic Sofia The First Poster. Shining says that Sofia The First is Sweetie Belle's favourite Disney Junior TV show from her childhood until she moves to Staten Island, New York. As he mentions that there are two Ambers, Flurry mentions Princess Amber, much to Cadance's concerns as stepsisters are a Cinderella thing. In addition, Jewel and Amber shares the same name and hair color until Flurry hopes to meet Sofia upon her return from Europe.
Travelling to the Netherlands (The Crusaders Revisits MercBenzKing)[]
Eventually, back in Portimão, Portugal, Amber, Anna, Coco Pommel, Marek, Moondancer, Potion Nova, the CMCs, the Mane 10 and the Shadowbolts check out of the apartment and proceed Northwest to Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands. The Crusaders has been to Amsterdam before, but that was just Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. They are also going to revisit their humble mentor, Betim Lushtaku. Much to Babs' confusion about Lushtaku himself, Apple Bloom mentions that Lushtaku is a Dutch guy who films many Mercedes-Benz cars and mentions his YouTube channel MercBenzKing, much to Diamond Tiara's shock. She also shows Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon his Instagram account, including his video on a black GLS580 in Moab, Utah and his Maybach 62 S video imported from Newport Beach, California.
Convoying Betim Lushtaku[]

Anna, Babs, Coco Pommel, Diamond Tiara, Fluttershy, Gordon, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Starlight, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Sebastian, Sunset, Twilight, the Shadowbolts, Amber, Applejack, Apple Bloom, Marek, Moondancer, Nova, Sofia and Zooey successfully got to Amsterdam, the Netherlands afterwards, only to find Betim's silver 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Twilight uses hands-free Bluetooth phone calling to call him and mentions that the crew are behind him. Lushtaku says that he's with his family, so he leads the way.

Once Anna, Babs, Coco Pommel, Diamond Tiara, Fluttershy, Gordon, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Starlight, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Sebastian, Sunset, Twilight, the Shadowbolts, Amber, Applejack, Apple Bloom, Marek, Moondancer, Nova, Sofia and Zooey arrive at Betim's house afterwards, Stephanie, his wife is pleased to welcome them to their house, much to the convoy's appreciation, including Babs Seed, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon as well. Rarity mentioned that they have been convoying all over Europe for 30 days such as Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Spain and Portugal, considering their first time visiting the Netherlands with Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle for the 2nd time.

Going On A River Cruise and Exploring The Flower Park[]
Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle are happy to take on a river cruise and stroll around the Keukenhof Flower Park again, but this time, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle brings their friends, including their big sisters. Betim also films a video with them and buy some souvenirs before the convoy proceeds to Cegléd, Hungary.
To Cegléd, Hungary We Go![]
On the way to Cegléd, Hungary, Marek tells Sofia that there are many sporting events such as archery, javelin, horseriding and stuff like that. According to Sofia, she tells him that in Enchancia, horseriding is known as derby racing, but Amber tells her that horseriding is a boy thing, much to Sugarcoat's disbelief as she mentioned that horseriding is suitable for all ages, depending on the gender. As the convoy arrive at CVSE Clubház és Panzió, the convoy splits into 5 bedrooms and eventually, they went for a swim at the swimming pool outside the hotel as well.
Horseback riding or equestrianism is another good example of outdoor activity.
Horseback Riding (Equestrianism)[]
The next morning, the convoy went to the countryside just 4538 kilometers outside of Cegléd for a horseback riding practice. Once they arrive at the horse stable afterwards, they seek permission from the horsekeeper to borrow it. Nova thanked the horsekeeper for allowing them to borrow, so they started their horseriding session.
At the horse track, Moondancer and Nova gives the convoy a brief overview of horseback riding, similar to Nova playing tennis with Sofia and Zooey in France plus beach tennis in Portimão, Portugal. Moondancer says that horseback riding is for an experienced person rather than for everybody. Sofia makes a demonstration after years of her derby racing experience in Enchancia, much to everybody's impression. Anna also conclude the tips and tricks on horseback riding, so they took turns, starting with Fleur de Lis, subsequently followed by the others. After the horseback riding practice, the convoy returned the horses to its original owner and back at CVSE Clubház és Panzió, Pommel uploads the video on her computer as well.

Final Destination: Bern, Switzerland[]
After 5 days in Cegléd, Hungary, the convoy departed for their final destination: Bern, Switzerland. At 10:00 AM, they got to Hotel Ambassador located along the Seftigenstraße 99. Indigo is delighted to watch their horseback riding video and cannot wait to show it to Principal Cadance. When Anna asked her about Cadance, Indy explained to Anna that Sofia befriends with her and the other Shadowbolts since Cadance allows her to enter Crystal Prep and Fleur mentioned that they will return to America real soon. The next day, the convoy went hitchhiking across the Swiss alps and eventually, they even take a tour of the Lindt Chocolate Factory in Zürich as well.
Return To America[]
After 45 days of European madness, the Shadowbolts, the Mane 10, the CMCs, Amber, Potion Nova, Pommel and the rest of the crew decided to return to America, leaving Anna and Marek behind as the duo returns to Poland. Once the plane lands in New York City, the Shadowbolts are shocked when Amber's black W222 Mercedes is parked next to Sour Sweet's Toyota Sienna Minivan. Amber stated that she has driven her black W222 for 7 years. As Lemon Zest convinces Amber to drop Zooey at her house, she decided to do so.

Princess Amber Enters Canterlot High School (CHS) and Forms The Amber Crew[]
On the way home, Amber drops Pommel outside her apartment in New York City, only to find her 1989 Nissan 240SX with the Type-X bodykit on it. Pommel mentioned that she has been a JDM car enthusiast after ending her career as a fashion designer. In addition, she tells Zooey that there are also female JDM car enthusiasts besides male ones. Pommel thanked Amber for dropping her outside her apartment, so Amber proceeds afterwards.
As Amber, Moondancer and Nova tries to drop Zooey, they arrive at Lemon Zest's house afterwards, only to find a white Genesis G90 Ultimate RWD that Cadance has purchased. Much to Amber's confusion about Cadance, Zooey mentioned that Mi Amore Cadenza or Cadance is Twilight's big sister-in-law until Amber congratulates her into being Crystal Prep's 9th Shadowbolt member. As Sour Sweet arrives at Lemon Zest's house, Lemon Zest and Zooey thanked Amber and began to get off the S-Class, subsequently followed by Moondancer and Nova. On the way to Kansas City, Kansas, Amber's W222 Mercedes started to run low on fuel, so the duo pulled over to the gas station to refuel it. Nova refuels the Mercedes while Amber went to the toilet to pee. Once Nova got back home, she convinces Amber to enter Canterlot High School (CHS), much to her joy.

After dropping Nova back to Kansas City, Kansas, Amber went back home. In this case, she joins Canterlot High's Wondercolts. Once she got to her new house afterwards, she went to the front door, knock the door and the door opened, only to find Emelina Grace ahead of Amber, much to her joy. Emelina allows Amber to enter the house once she declares herself as the new Wondercolts member in CHS. In addition, Emelina introduces Amber to Lyra, Derpy and Bon Bon, much to their delight.
Cadance, Shining and Flurry Visits Jewel and Sofia[]
Later that evening, Jewel, Sofia, Cadance, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart are having a tea party together until Sofia tells Cadance that Amber brings Zooey, Moondancer, Nova and Pommel upon their arrival at Prague, the Czech Republic. Jewel mentions Shining Armor the K12 Nissan Micra that Pommel drives from Vienna to Prague, much to Cadance's delight. As Flurry Heart touches Sofia's left leg, she lifts Flurry off the ground, much to her awareness. Shining Armor tells Sofia that Flurry is 9 years old, mentions their trip to Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in Austria with Cadance and during Twilight's trip to Austria in a red Opel Grandland X Hybrid4. Cadance tells Sofia about the Cutie Mark Crusaders (Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle) about how they ended up landing in Berlin, Germany's capital and she mentions Jan Gleitsmann, the car enthusiast who runs a YouTube channel called Ausfahrt.tv, much to Sofia's confusion as she does not know Gleitsmann, even though Indigo Zap has been to Germany before. As Shining Armor tells Sofia about the Audi Museum in Ingolstadt that Jewel has visited, Sofia was shocked when Jewel visited the Audi Museum, but much to her disappointment for not visiting the BMW Welt in Munich. As Cadance shows Jewel and Sofia the Ausfahrt.tv YouTube channel, she mentions that all of Gleitsmann's reviews are in German. Sofia thanked Shining Armor and Cadance for sharing their stories and tells them that Zooey will join the Shadowbolts real soon, so Flurry and her parents returned home afterwards.
Return to Crystal Prep (Suri Polomare Intervenes)[]
Sofia and the Shadowbolts are happy to return to Crystal Prep again the next morning, so she, Indy, Jewel, Sour Sweet and Sunny Flare went to school in her silver Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Once they arrive at Crystal Prep afterwards, they wait for Zooey until a white Genesis G90 Ultimate RWD enter the school's parking lot. Once the Genesis parks next to Sofia's C-Class, she knocks the driver's window a few times and the driver's window opens, only to find Zooey behind the wheel along with Fleur de Lis, Lemon Zest and Sugarcoat with her, much to Sofia's shock. Zooey also introduces Suri Polomare to Sofia, much to her confusion until the duo introduce themselves as well. However, the Shadowbolts runs low on time to chat, so they enter the school together. Eventually, back in CHS, Cranky Doodle moans at his students for returning from vacation, including Amber, much to his mortification. At the cafeteria during lunch, Amber, Bon Bon, Derpy, Emelina and Lyra allows the Mane 10 to have lunch together.
The Shadow 10 Meets Doug DeMuro[]
After school, Sofia and the Shadowbolts went to Fleur's house in Union Beach, New Jersey together. The crew also enter the house together, only to find car enthusiast Doug DeMuro coming downstairs greeting Fleur. He also meets Sofia and Zooey for the very first time as well, much to Sofia's delight. DeMuro mentions that he works with the Mane 10 until Sofia introduces herself. Lemon Zest tells DeMuro that they have been friends with Sofia earlier this year and being Jewel's adopted little sister. They almost forgot Zooey, in which she introduces herself as well.
Sofia Wants to Return to Enchancia[]
Later that night back at Jewel's house, Sofia began to cry in tears as she missed her mom so much until Jewel hugs her. Given the fact that Queen Miranda is her mother, Sofia's mom will die if she and Amber did not return to Enchancia, much to her refusal to lose a mother and Jewel's agreement. Fade to Crystal Prep the next morning at Principal Cadance's office, Polomare mentions that Queen Miranda is Sofia's mom. Shining Armor allows the Shadow 10 to proceed to Enchancia, much to their joy as Sofia thanked them for allowing them, subsequently followed by Amber and the whole cast.
Ending: Sofia and Amber's Reunion with Their Family[]
At Enchancia, King Roland II and Queen Miranda are shocked when Baileywick, the steward, tells them that Sofia and Amber has returned. Once the duo opened the castle's front doors, Sofia and Amber successfully reunites with their family again until the Mane 10, the Shadowbolts and the Crusaders joined the hug too. Roland thanked the Mane 10, the Shadowbolts and the Crusaders looking after Sofia and Amber during their absence. The film ends with Jewel introducing herself, much to their jokes.
Epilogue (After Post Credits): Cadance, Flurry and Shining Armor Meets Princess Amber[]
After the post credits, Amber finally returns to her old bedroom in Enchancia. She started to take a nap after her long journey until Cadance, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart appears ahead of her. The trio introduce themselves and mentions Amber that they are Sofia's biggest fans, leaving Amber in shock. As a result, she fainted from the shock until the trio says STEPSISTERS in unison.

- Princess Sofia (voiced by Francesca Capaldi) - The main protagonist and narrator throughout the film. She is Enchancia's retired princess, a younger cousin to Princess Strawberry Shortcake and a daughter to Queen Miranda. She is Crystal Prep's 8th Shadowbolt member and Amber Jewel's new little sister. She has brown hair and fair skin, plus half Fluttershy half Twilight Sparkle.
- Amber Jewel (voiced by Amber Heard) - Sofia's adopted little sister. She shares the same forename and blonde hair just like Princess Amber and she's named as Bernstein Juwel in German.
- Sour Sweet (voiced by Mindy Kaling) - The supporting character throughout the film. Amanda Nicole Karen Jones is her real name but she's named Süß-Sauer in German. She's one of Crystal Prep's students who behaves sweetly and sourly. She drives a Toyota Sienna minivan carrying her friends everywhere.
- Sunny Flare (voiced by January Jones) - Another Crystal Prep student. She drives a Mercedes-Maybach S650 and a supporting character throughout the film. Kristen Elizabeth Christine Turner is her real name, but she's named Sonnig Fackel in German and Llamarada Soleada in Spanish.
- Gordon Robinson (voiced by Zac Efron) - The boy from Canterlot High School and a second bass guitar player after Applejack. He's the younger brother to Sebastian Robinson and Pinkie Pie's boyfriend. He represents the Element of Excellence and half Pinkie Pie half Rarity.
- Sebastian Robinson (voiced by Tom Everett Scott) - The second electric guitar player after Rainbow Dash and an automotive journalist. He's the older brother to Gordon and Fluttershy's boyfriend. He represents the Element of Diligence and half Applejack half Rainbow Dash.
- Sugarcoat (voiced by Raini Rodriguez) - Another student of Crystal Prep Academy and a member of its sports team, the Shadowbolts. She's actually Deborah Leslie Elena McGregor, but named in German as Zuckermantel.
- Potion Nova (voiced by Dove Cameron) - She's a retired science teacher from Coronado Middle School in Kansas City, Kansas after 70 years of experience. She's actually Karen Michelle Elizabeth Capaldi, but named as Miss Nova by Sofia and Amber.
