Amethyst is a female unicorn pony who lives near Galloping Gorge. She is a skilled archer and works as a gem miner.

History

Amethyst was born in a remote home near Galloping Gorge. As a child her mother taught her how to find gems and her father and brothers showed her to use a bow and arrow. As she grew older, moved to the town of Ponyville, and met her friends. She even soon qualified to be an Ice Archer in the Equestria Games.
